Join us for a workshop led by Jo Ann Fites-Kaufman.

Learn how to: locate & prepare a burn site, build control lines, what tools to use, prepare the site for safe burning. Participants will have the opportunity to help construct a control line and remove ladder fuels at an actual burn site. CAL FIRE will join us to discuss permitting requirements.

Please Bring: Sturdy shoes, Water, Snacks, Rain Gear, Favorite Fire Tool (rake, mcloud, loppers, etc)

Please Note: No bathroom facilities on site.
