We utilize the knowledge of accredited personnel from several federal and state agencies. Chief among these agencies is the USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). Other agencies include the U.S. Forest Service, the Bureau of Land Management, the U.S. Department of Fish and Game, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, and other state departments in forestry, agriculture, recreation, etc.
Helping landowners with questions about their land and its uses and/or issues is an intengral part of the NCRCD's mission. If we are unable to answer a specific question, we'll help locate the experts who can.
*If you are looking for the USDA’s Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) Cost-Share Program, call (530) 798-5533 for eligibility requirements and application.
