School Garden Micro‑Grant Program

School gardens offer rich, hands‑on learning experiences that help students build meaningful connections to the environment and extend their education beyond the classroom.

In support of these student gardens, the Nevada County Resource Conservation District has created a micro‑grant program for schools in Nevada County. Eligible schools may receive up to $5,000 to start, expand, or enhance their children’s garden project.

Once we receive your information, our team will get in touch with you to schedule a School Site Visit to learn more about your program, explore your garden space, and determine what resources are needed to help your garden thrive.
